“Motorized Scooters – More Than Just A Great Way To SAVE On RISING Fuel Expenses, EASY Parking AND Quick Way To Get THROUGH Traffic Jams…”

Did you know 1/3 of the price of a scooter is the cost of the battery?

People won’t believe how, with a scooter, you can quickly and safely travel from one spot to the next in no time – even in heavy congested traffic – and have fun!

The roads could be blocked off, public transport could be on strike but because of its versatile size, a motor scooter will take you anywhere. It will also help you save $20, $50 or more dollars in fuel expenses every week not to mention a small fortune on parking.

You can save up to an hour per day especially if you have to travel in peak hour traffic.

While other less fortunate people are crammed like sardines on the public transport (OR paying $30/day for a lousy parking spot that’s almost impossible to find) – you’ll be cruising around as if the road was made just for you.

Follow these simple precautions and guidelines to ensure your maximum safety, pleasure and maybe one day you could become a proud owner of sneaky motor scooter:

Motorized scooters come in two varieties: those that have a motor attached to the original scooter and those that look like small motorcycles.

The smaller motorcycle kind is the most popular one. They range from toys to road vehicles. In many European countries it’s popular to travel with this sort of motorized scooter since they are affordable, versatile, have great mileage and some look, well kick-ass ‘cute’.

In North America, some of these motorized scooters are fit to drive on the open road. These must be driven with a license (it’s quite simple to obtain) and you need to wear some safety equipment for your protection. There is another more risky type of motorized scooter - the off road types. If you’re a little daredevil this could be just right for you!

Not for the faint-hearted…

There are two types of motorized scooters that anyone can drive: limited speed motorcycles, reaching speeds of 70 km an hour and restricted use motorcycles that have a lower speed capacity.

Governments generally find these types to be the most risky, as they are not fully equipped for road use along with cars. It is agreed that this type of vehicle should be used by a responsible operator. There are no current laws restricting their use.

Motorized scooters work on battery power. Some scooters may work on gasoline power, but those are more rare. Batteries come in two distinct types: rechargeable and non-rechargeable.

Rechargeable batteries tend to cost more than chargeable batteries but their lifetime is around eight to nine or MORE times longer. They also require the purchase of the correct (re)charger. All you do is plug it overnight and it’s ready to hop on in the morning. Plus it’s great for the environment!

How NOT to get ripped off and get the dealer to boot 1/3 of the cost…

Generally, motorized scooters use AGM sealed batteries made with gel that require no acid. Companies that produce scooters also produce batteries to go along with them. Yamaha and Honda are among the most popular choices. Did you know batteries are about one third or a quarter of the price of the motorized scooter? Now you do!

To buy the right motorized scooter for yourself OR your teenage son or daughter…

Online vendors sell both the battery and the scooter as a package deliverable to your home. Stores that specialize in sporting equipment sell motorized scooters as well. Scooters that are made as toys for children can be found in many toy retail locations.
